What to look for in a blocking app
Before comparing apps, understand what a good blocking tool should do. There are 5 relevant technical criteria:

Detailed analysis
1. Freedom — the most complete option
Freedom is the only app that blocks cross-device: if you schedule a session, it blocks TikTok on your iPhone, iPad, Mac and browser simultaneously. There is no way to bypass it by switching devices.

Technical blocking is not enough
